This website is meant to provide resources and assistance to encourage Northampton residents to take actions individually and as a community that will reduce energy use and accelerate the use of more sustainable energy sources. 

Energy Help Northampton is a volunteer-based community group that provides assistance to residents and businesses to take sustainable energy actions. Energy Coaches are volunteers available with free help for clients to learn about energy actions and provide guidance on energy equipment selection, energy rebates, installation considerations, and references.  Residents request the one-on-one support of Energy Coaches to navigate the many choices and considerations. Background - The idea for Energy Help Northampton started with a Coalition of climate advocacy groups. The goal is to make it easier for residents to choose sustainable energy sources. Another outcome is to encourage actions that support the Northampton City department of Climate Action and Project Administration (CAPA) to meet the greenhouse gas reduction goals of the City’s Sustainability Plan.
